Roses and Figueres


To the north of the camp site Cala Montgó at Costa Brava you can find a town called Roses and the bay of Roses, the principal gulf of the Catalan coast with the distance of 15 km with the long beaches and the nature reserve of marshland of Empordà full of the luxuriant nature.

More to the north, in the direction towards France we can visit the town of Figueres, the cradle of the Catalan genius, Salvador Dalí. In Figueres there is the famous Museum Dalí, but to understand fully the personality and the inspiration of the painter one should visit his house at Costa Brava in Port Lligat and also the town of Cadaqués.
